Rainwater Tank Rebate (ACT Householders)

Having a rainwater tank for your garden needs can help save water and reduce your water bills.

Depending on the location where you want to install the rainwater tank and available space you can select between the round shaped tanks or the slimline ones. The latter looks more aesthetic but tends to be more expensive.

If you reside in the ACT you may be eligible for an ACT government rebate of up to $1000 of the purchase and installation of a rainwater tank.

Apparently if you are building a house in a new estate it’s likely that the lease and development conditions require you to have a rainwater tank. In this case your property won’t be eligible for the rebate.
